About me

Born in Barcelona, I’m known by my friends as Lara.

My studies of Spanish Language (Filología Hispánica) and the Spanish Teaching Certificate (CAP), allowed me to indulge myself in my two passions: Languages and travelling!

I gained a scholarship to teach in a German Middle School, and then continued on to the Language Center of University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart), Imperial College (London) and Instituto Cervantes (London).

When I returned back to Barcelona with a husband in tow, I began to teach Spanish to MBA students at IESE university (Barcelona).

Keen to be able to teach both Spanish and English, I also completed a CELTYL certification which allows me to teach English to young learners. With this certification, I not only learnt how to teach English, but also gained a new perspective on how to teach a language to younger students.

I have subsequently completed other courses and certifications, specializing in Business Spanish Teaching and general teaching, making continuous improvement to my teaching skills a lifelong goal.

Teaching is my passion, and helping you learn my native language gives me great pleasure
