About me
I was born in Barcelona, my friends call me Lara, and teaching Spanish is my passion. I live in Vilanova with my teenage son, my Australian husband — who's still trying to teach me all his "Aussie tricks" — and two dogs as lovable as they are cheeky.
To me, teaching Spanish is about helping you open the door to your new life here.
Teaching isn't my job — it's what makes me happy.

One-to-one lessons in Sitges or online. You set the pace, the topics and the schedule — focused on exactly what you need.

Not at all. I take students at every level, from complete beginner to advanced. If you'd like to know your level, you can find the free test on the website to see exactly where to start. We'll send you the results as soon as we can. Bear in mind that this test only measures your grammar skills.
It depends on the format. The summer intensive has a fixed weekly price. Individual and group classes are priced according to frequency and goals. Get in touch and I'll walk you through everything — no strings attached.
Both options are available. In-person classes are held in Sitges. Online, we connect by video call with the same methodology and the same personal attention. Students from all over the world learn Spanish from home.
For anyone who wants to learn Spanish: expats living in Spain, professionals who need it for work, tourists who've fallen in love with Sitges, or simply curious people. No requirements — just the desire to learn.
It depends on your starting point and how much you practise outside class. With regular lessons, most students notice real improvement within a few weeks.
Easy — take the free level test on the website. Then reach out by email, WhatsApp or Instagram and tell me your goals. We'll then meet to complete the test and also check your listening comprehension. From there we'll confirm your level and I'll walk you through the different options to improve your Spanish. All no pressure, always great energy.
